The City of Ottawa is carrying out an Environmental Assessment (EA) Study in support of the functional design and options analysis for modifications to the intersection of Dunrobin Road and Constance Bay Road to address safety concerns.
You're invited to participate in the Public Information Session that's being held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Constance and Buckham's Bay Community Centre (Main Hall) 262 Len Purcell Drive. View official public notice at the link below:

A previously carried out safety assessment at a number of rural intersections in the City of Ottawa recommended a single lane roundabout for this location. Robinson Consultants has been retained to complete the Class EA Schedule B project including the intersection control option review and subsequent design of the Recommended Option.
The EA study is being undertaken in accordance with the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act, fulfilling requirements of a Municipal Class EA process for a Schedule B project. The EA process will involve developing, assessing and evaluating alternatives, leading to a Recommended Plan including a functional design and estimated costs
for implementation.
Public and agency consultation is a key component throughout the Class EA process, and your input and comments are welcomed for incorporation into the planning and design of this project.
The March 4th Public Information Session will include information display boards to summarize background work completed and the technically preferred plan, potential impacts and mitigation. The presentation materials will also be made available on this page of the Engage Ottawa website, where you can also take a survey and provide comments before March 18, 2026.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, all comments received, with the exception of personal information, will become part of the public record for this EA.
Accessibility is an important consideration for the City of Ottawa. If you require alternative means to provide feedback, please contact the City Project Manager as noted below.
