As we close out the 161st Carp Fair, I would like to thank Fair Presidents Jean Sullivan and Jon Daley and their hard-working Board of Directors for their tireless efforts in putting together this outstanding community event every year.
I've been coming to this event for my entire life and the Carp Fair never disappoints. My team and I were proud to be there all weekend and pleased to meet so many Ward 5 residents who came up to our booth to say hello or discuss an issue that's important to them. My family and I were thrilled again this year to be part of the opening ceremonies, where I was honoured to have the chance to say a few words about the Best Little Fair in Canada.
It was nice to see so many families and volunteers come out to support this great tradition and community-building event. I'm already looking forward to the 162nd Carp Fair next year!
