Councillor Kelly Tables Motion for Fees to be Waived for Disaster Recovery Assistance Applications
Statement from Councillor Kelly:
At the October 25th, 2023, City of Ottawa Council meeting, I tabled a motion - which was carried - that will ensure that fees are waived for permits associated with Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) applications for people affected by the spring floods along the Ottawa River.

On October 11th, Councillor Kelly was on hand to welcome people and take part in the information session hosted by the province on the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians. This program was activated to assist with recovery from damage to property as a result of the flooding in the spring of 2023.
