Statement and Photos From Wednesday's Grand Reopening of Dunrobin Plaza

Statement from Councillor Kelly on the grand re-opening of the Dunrobin Plaza on October 29th, 2025, seven years after it was struck by a tornado.

"I was honoured to be on hand for the ribbon and cake-cutting ceremonies at the official grand re-opening of the Dunrobin Plaza yesterday morning. Nearly seven years after a 2018 tornado devastated the plaza, the ceremony was a special moment of renewal for our community. After extensive work, the plaza has been completely rebuilt and restored, both inside and out.

"It's located at 2808 Dunrobin Plaza and has room for eight businesses. There are leases in place with both a pharmacy and a dentist's office, and it sounds like a coffee shop is also a possibility."
