"This stretch of March Road, and the intense development surrounding it, has caused delays and problems for Ward 5 residents," Councillor Kelly said. "And I continue to work with some of my colleagues on ensuring that our infrastructure keeps up with the pace of development.

"This intersection will make the commute down March Road safer, but also has the potential to make it longer. I believe this stretch of March Road exemplifies many of the things that are wrong with the development process and am reminded of this almost everyday day as I drive through it.

"I don’t have all the answers, but will continue to work toward a better process that ensures infrastructure is actually accommodating the growth that we as a city have encouraged."
