Friendly Reminder About Dog Leash Requirements

As residents and their dogs get out to enjoy summer walks and runs in our local parks and neighbourhoods, we'd like to share a friendly reminder about leash requirements.
Dogs must always be on a leash unless they are:
* on private property with the property owner's permission, or
* in a designated off-leash area.
In all situations, dogs must remain under the control of their handler.
Our community includes people of all ages and varying comfort levels around dogs. Following leash requirements helps everyone enjoy our shared spaces safely and comfortably.
