It usually takes me well into December to get into the Christmas spirit, but this year it’s been easier.
Over the last few weeks, I have been able to attend many Christmas events, parades, and gatherings in Ward 5, including dropping Christmas cards off for residents at Carp Commons and other places in West Carleton last week.
I also picked up our tree with my family this past weekend at MacGowans Christmas Tree Farm. Heather-Lina is a very big fan of hot chocolate.
With Christmas right around the corner, the Ward 5 office will be closed until January 2nd to give the team a break, but emails and voicemails will still be monitored, and urgent requests will be prioritized and responded to.
I want to wish everyone in West Carleton-March a very Merry Christmas and look forward to working with and for you in 2024.
